Download ITEM

At Ephemera Fest 2014, we made a collaborative zine called ITEM. Folks were encouraged to create a page with essays, poetry, drawings, or anything else they felt like sharing.

We got so many great submissions, and we have just finished putting them all together into a full-color downloadable zine.

Thanks to all who participated; and special thanks to Anna Campomanes for putting ITEM together. Hope you enjoy.

Day-of logistics! EF 2014

We are SO STOKED that you’re coming to join us on Saturday! We have a couple of things we want to let you know before we all show up and the event gets rolling.

LOADING & PARKING: Since May 10th is the same day as May Fest, parking will be a little dicey right next to the Carnegie Center. All metered parking is free on weekends. If you’re really struggling, we can probably suggest some parking places you might not know of – don’t hesitate to ask!

SET UP: Come and help us set up on Friday between 2-5 p.m. at our Set Up Party: https://www.facebook.com/events/736118669755434/

FREE STUFF: If you have free stuff that you want to give out but don’t have space for it on your table, leave it to us! We’re going to have a spot for free stuff – fliers, stickers, business cards, prints, etc that folks can grab on their way in or out of the building. You don’t have to have a registered table to leave stuff on the free table.

FOOD: There should be some street food at May Fest in Gratz Park (adjacent to the Carnegie Center) and until noon at the Farmer’s Market a block away, as well as a variety of restaurants and coffee spots downtown.

BREAK DOWN: We MUST be out of the Carnegie Center promptly at 5 p.m. due to city funding regulations, so we will send someone around at 4:15 to start the packing-up process. We have to move in-house tables to their original locations and clean up the space in time to lock up at 5 p.m. If you are willing or able to help, we may ask for a hand to speed up the process.

AFTER PARTY: You are cordially invited to attend our Ephemera Fest after party! It’s a free show at Al’s bar (they have above-average bar food too, if you’re into that), you can check out more info here: https://www.facebook.com/events/322718564543814/
